Delta APC women were honored for their loyalty at the party’s summit, receiving rewards for their dedication.
In Asaba, the women of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Delta State were honored for their loyalty at a summit organized by former National Women Leader Stella Okotete.
Ejieh Helen (Delta North), Mrs. Rita Ogagarojor (Delta South), and Mrs. Queen Ogedengbe (Delta Central) each received N1 million, while Roseline Akamakowe, Endurance Akoka, Edewor Rose, Lizzy Unurhoro, and Mercy Ochei were among those who received N500,000 each.
Okotete praised the women for their steadfast support of the party during the election, which resulted in victories for two senators, several Representatives, and seven Assembly members.
Mary Idele, the National Women Leader and special guest, praised Okotete as a devoted, reliable, and unwavering leader.
Mrs. Tina Okwudili, the State Women Leader, announced that more than 500 female traders have joined the APC.
She introduced the Delta State Progressives Cooperative and Agricultural Farmers programs to empower women in the APC.
Okotete was praised by the state Chair, Elder Omeni Sobotie, through his wife. She highlighted Okotete’s influence and referred to her as the Lioness of Niger Delta.
