Popular comic star Nosa Afolabi, better known as Lasisi Elenu, has expressed his frustration to ex Nigerian president Muhammad Buhari amid the ongoing economic hardship.
Lasisi Elenu, known for his unique comedic style, shared his private Instagram conversation with Muhammad Buhari. It occurred that the comedian sent a voice note to the ex-president, lamenting bitterly about the unbearable high cost of food, petrol hike and lots more.
Muhammad Buhari ruled Nigeria for 8 years from 2015 to 2023. He was succeeded by Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who is the Nigerian president from May 2023 till date.
Within a span of a year that Buhari left the presidential seat, Nigerians have been facing some challenges and hardships over the economic instabilities, increase in foreign exchange, insecurities, price hike in food products and lots more.
However, Lasisi Elenu could be heard crying profusely as he revealed how much he missed Buhari’s administration.
In his words, “Boss, good evening sir, how is work and the family, I’m not sending you this message on behalf of anyone, I owe it to myself and my familyTo be honest I never thought I will be here doing this by this time, first, I don’t even know to say this, I honestly don’t know how to go about this,I feel like, I’m trying my best to keep myself be as respectful, I miss you, I miss you, I miss you, I miss you God,I miss you, I miss you (crying), God abeg, abeg, God help me abeg, dad, I miss you sir.”
