‘Everything Main Town’, Stakeholder Decry Marginalization In Keana, Urges Governor Sule To Intervene

A critical stakeholder of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Akuki Ibrahim Salihu, has decried alleged marginalization and exclusion of surrounding wards of Keana Local Government Area in the sharing of political positions.
Salihu in a statement issued on Friday alleged that vital political positions of the Area are domiciled in the main town, leaving other wards marginalized and without representation.
This, he said was an unfair distribution of power that has led to a sense of exclusion and disenfranchisement among the people of the affected areas.
He therefore appealed to Governor Abdullahi Sule and the leadership of the ruling party to intervene and address the imbalance in the distribution of key positions domiciled in the area.
“We urge you to ensure that key positions are distributed fairly among all wards, reflecting the diversity and needs of the entire Local Government Area.
“Establish a more inclusive decision-making process, involving representatives from all wards, to prevent dominance by a single group.
“Address the historical marginalization of surrounding wards and promote equal opportunities for development and growth.
“We believe that your intervention will bring about much-needed change and promote unity, fairness, and progress in Keana LGA. We look forward to your prompt action,” Salihu, stated further.
