Comrade Halilu Yahaya, the former Special Adviser on Security and Conflict Resolution to the immediate past Executive Chairman of Kokona Local Government Council, Mr Awalu Adamu has expressed appreciation over the appointment.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, Yahaya said thanked Almighty God for granting him the opportunity to accomplish the task diligently.
“To my principal, Hon. Awalu Adamu, my esteem colleagues, outgoing Councilors, Supervisory councilors, all political appointees, dedicated staff, and the entire Local Government community, I am filled with gratitude’s and appreciation for the opportunity to contribute my own quota for the betterment of our dear local government area.
“Over the past three years, we have worked tirelessly to transform our local government, driven by our shared vision of progress and development. Together, we have achieved remarkable milestones, overcome challenges, and created lasting impacts.
“I extend my deepest appreciation to all the Security agencies for their unwavering support and collaboration in resolving every security related maters. I want to also recognize the efforts of our community leaders, traditional rulers and stakeholders for the very pivotal role they played in addressing every conflicting issues that arises. And I want to say a big thank you to all residents for their trust, cooperation, and encouragement and to our committed staff too, for their hard work, dedication, and resilience. Your selflessness, expertise, and passion have been instrumental in our successes. I am proud of what we have accomplished together.
“As we depart, I leave with fond memories, learn valuable lessons, and a sense of fulfillment. I entrust our rein and confident that with Hon. Auwal Adamu again, our collective efforts will continue to bear fruit and we shall uplift and upgrade Kokona LGA to a greater heights.
“Thank you for the privilege to serve. May our local government continue to thrive, and may our community remain united and prosperous.
