Aka Ojopagogo born on 30th September 1964; the man who has already clock 76 years last month. He has a peculiar way of acting like a 110years old man with a shaking voice and trembling posture.
A native of α»Μyα»Μ town in α»Μyα»Μ-State, he was born on the 30th SeptemberΒ in Iseyin, also in α»Μyα»Μ State.
He is a veteran whose experience in the movie industry started around 40years ago. I believe he will be celebrating 51years on stage next year.
He produced his first movie “Baba No Go Die” in 1997(27years ago).
He got his name “Ojopagogo” in 1986 when he went to act a stage play titled “α»lΓ‘ ΓbΓ tΓ ” for the AlÑà fin of α»Μyα»Μ with his boss, Chief Adedeji Aderemi aka α»lΓ³Μ£fΓ -InΓ‘. During the play, somebody hailed him by shouting “α»mα» ΓjΓ² pa sekere” and another person shouted him down…”Shut up! Ojo Pa Sekere KΓ³, Ojo Pa Agogo ni.”
People around him now picked it from there and started calling him “Ojopagogo” that is now a popular name today.
Ojopagogo is one of the sought-after YorΓΉbΓ‘ Nollywood actors who also sings well. He produced one or two songs back then. Beyond that, he is a fine-artist. I guess that was attracted BΓ bΓ‘ α»lΓ³Μ£fΓ -InΓ‘ to him before he started acting with him.
After the demise of his first wife who died in the year 2000, Ojopagogo got married to the beautiful actress, Moji Afolayan, the first daughter of the late veteran Ade Love since 2003 and their union is blessed with beautiful children. With that, he is a brother-in-law to the likes of Aremu Afolayan, Gabriel Afolayan(Gabbylucciii) and Kunle Afolayan.
