The Osun State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party led by the Chairman, Hon Sunday Bisi, today met the Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola-led National Reconciliation Committee, in Ibadan, the Oyo State Capital.
The meeting aims towards stronger unity through reconciliation and membership drive, which ultimately strengthens the party and positions it for victory in upcoming elections.
Hon Sunday Bisi praised Governor Ademola Adeleke for his exceptional governance in Osun State, which has made the party’s relationship with various sections of the society in Osun State productively seamless.
Hon Sunday Bisi informed the Committee amongst other lines of discourse, that the party in Osun State is focused on receiving members from opposition parties to bolster its chances in the 2026 elections.
Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola had earlier informed stakeholders at the meeting that the role of the committee is to work towards resolving internal party conflicts and promote unity without any bias.
Members of the State Working Committee, former secretary to the government of Osun State, Alh Fatai Akinbade, South West Executives from Osun State, including the Zonal Youth Leader, Com Seyi Bamidele, Hon Sikiru Araoye (SW Ex-officio) Hon Babatunde Olawoyin (SW Financial Secretary), were all at the meeting.
