Adam did not eat his tithe. Adams’s s!n was not about tithe. There were two trees in the centre of the garden. Adam was asked not to touch one(The tree of knowledge of good and ev!l)…the other one was the TREE OF LIFE. No one stopped Adam from touching this one.
However, these things are theologically symbolic, not your regular English comprehension and summary passages.
The TREE OF LIFE was symbolic of Christ. Anyone who rejects Christ has d!ed, fallen and s!nned already…This is the original sin. The absence of Christ in a life is the presence of everything else that signifies, replicates and causes sin and separation from God. The Garden of Eden has nothing to do with TITHES.
Tithing is not also a bad practice. Tithing is a form of giving to God’s work, so it is a good thing for a believer in Christ. My issue is when we some of us coerce, force, man!pulate people or twist scripture so that people will give.
Two things: If you have to be man!pulated before you can give, check yourself.
If you are manipulating people so they will give, your motive is already clear… you can’t be helping God raise money to do his work. God supplies.”
