Vice President Harris is leading former President Trump by 4 points in a recent Wisconsin poll released on Wednesday. The Marquette Law School Poll indicates that Harris, the Democratic nominee, has garnered 52 percent support among registered voters, while Trump follows closely at 48 percent. This trend holds steady among likely voters as well, with Harris at 52 percent and Trump at 48 percent.
When including former independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. in the survey, Harris’s support drops to 48 percent, with Trump at 44 percent and Kennedy at 3 percent among registered voters.
The poll also highlights a significant increase in voter enthusiasm, with 67 percent of respondents expressing that they are “very enthusiastic” about casting their ballots, up from 63 percent in early September.
Notably, the enthusiasm surge is most pronounced among independents, with 50 percent reporting high levels of eagerness to vote—a nearly 20-point increase from the previous month. As of late September, Harris had a 7-point lead in another poll, with support at 53 percent to Trump’s 46 percent among likely voters.
The Marquette Law School Poll was conducted between September 18 and 26, surveying 882 registered voters and 798 likely voters, with a margin of error of 4.4 percentage points.
