A minor earthquake shook the Los Angeles area on Tuesday, coinciding with the end of the lunch hour.
The U.S. Geological Survey reported that the quake struck at 12:56 p.m. PT just outside Ontario, California. Initially, the agency recorded the magnitude at 3.1, but later upgraded it to 3.5 following further analysis.
The earthquake occurred at a shallow depth of 3.5 miles. As of now, there have been no reports of damage or injuries related to the event.
