Your Excellency,
As the President of Akoko Youth Forum, representing the vibrant youth population of Akoko both at home and abroad, I write to you today in the spirit of hope and progress, as we continue to see positive steps taken by your administration in the areas of governance and national development. With the cabinet reshuffle on the horizon, we recognize this as a crucial opportunity to further strengthen key sectors and inject fresh energy into your team.
Your leadership thus far has shown a commitment to reshaping Nigeria’s future, and among your ministers, there have been standout performers who have taken on significant challenges and delivered results that inspire us all. Among them is Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, a son of Akoko and a distinguished leader whose performance as Minister of Interior has been remarkable.
Hon. Olubunmi’s achievements in the Ministry of Interior have not only set a new standard but have also positioned Nigeria on the global stage with milestones like Nigeria’s enrollment into the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Public Key Directory (PKD) and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI). This has notably improved the global ranking of our Nigerian passport and the ease of passage for Nigerians worldwide.
In addition to these global accomplishments, Hon. Olubunmi has shown an unwavering commitment to enhancing internal security and improving service delivery at the Ministry of Interior, earning accolades for his outstanding work ethic and leadership. His ability to execute tasks ahead of schedule, effectively manage multiple projects, and foster teamwork sets him apart as an exemplary public servant.
With the upcoming cabinet reshuffle, we humbly appeal to Your Excellency to consider Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo for another pivotal role in your administration. His dedication, competence, and track record of delivering tangible results make him a valuable asset who can bring further transformative change to Nigeria. Whether it be in continuing his work in another strategic ministry or in a new capacity, we believe he will rise to the occasion, just as he has done in the Ministry of Interior.
As a youth-led organization, we hold firm in our belief that the youth of Nigeria need leaders who exemplify excellence, integrity, and innovation—qualities that Hon. Olubunmi has consistently displayed. We remain hopeful that this reshuffle will usher in more opportunities for leaders like him to contribute to the nation’s development.
Your Excellency, we trust in your wisdom and leadership to make decisions that will further uplift our country. We eagerly anticipate seeing continued progress and positive changes under your administration.
