Turkish Super Lig star Kahveci praises Victor Osimhen’s active playing style, highlighting his impact on the pitch. Read more about the comments.
On Saturday, during Galatasaray’s 5-0 victory against Çaykur Rizespor in the Turkish Süper Lig, Victor Osimhen made his debut and former Beşiktaş forward Nihat Kahveci has shared his opinion on the striker.
According to Kahveci, Osimhen displayed remarkable energy and consistent involvement throughout the match against Rizespor.
During the match, Osimhen played for the entire 90 minutes and provided an assist.
According to Yenisafak, Kahveci remarked about Osimhen’s performance by stating:
“I didn’t perceive Osimhen to be deficient in physicality. He demonstrated his athleticism as a player. I observed his superior jumping ability during the cut balls.”
It was anticipated that Osimhen would score goals. Batshuayi delivered a superb pass to him, and although he struck the ball accurately with the inner part of his foot, it was blocked by the goalkeeper.
Did he have many opportunities to score besides that? Galatasaray players failed to provide him with such clear chances.
When it came to defense, I admired how he directed the ball towards his team’s goalkeeper and defenders.
His tenacity whilst defending during Rizespor’s possession was also noteworthy as he tirelessly worked hard in these areas.
“Osimhen is an extremely active player who consistently searches for goal-scoring opportunities.
He gets involved in the game and has a knack for scoring goals. With more positions tailored to his strengths, Galatasaray can expect him to continue finding the back of the net regularly.”
