Aisha Yesufu, a socio-political activist, has criticized the Department of State Services (DSS) for apprehending Omoyele Sowore, the former presidential candidate of AAC.
It was previously stated that Sowore, who played a key role in organizing the EndBadGovernance protests, was apprehended by secret police personnel on Sunday while he was in Lagos.
Upon his return to Nigeria from the United States, he was arrested. Nevertheless, in a post on X, he affirmed his release.
Aisha expressed her opinion regarding the arrest on her official X handle, stating that she considers the secret police to be both shameless and unintelligent.
In her words, “DSS/SSS demonstrated not just shamelessness but also lack of intelligence. They fell right into the trap! Oh my goodness!”
