According to Coach Randy Waldrum’s reported resignation letter ππΎππΎππΎ
βItβs been a very difficult few weeks following the Olympics, with my wifeβs health issues, and the worries that obviously come with that. After much thought and consideration, I am hereby resigning my position as Head Coach of the Super Falcons. This will allow the NFF ample time to find the next manager to take over this incredible squad”.
It is such a bitter pill for someone like me to swallow knowing this man genuinely loves the team and wants the best for them always. He built that team into a formidable combination of Skills, Ruggedness, Tenacity, Resilience and Experience. He went over and beyond to give us a fine blend of Nigerians (home grown and of abroad) and his 2023 World Cup exploits will remain evergreen in our memories.
Only genuine love for the Girls will make a Coach of his status take a $10k wage per month, including numnerous months of being ownedΒ to keep working for an entity like NFF.
I will miss Coach Randy Waldrum π’ πͺ π π
