Christopher Agbaje, a Nigerian national, has been sentenced to 142 months in prison for orchestrating a fraudulent scheme against a North Dakota law firm.
In addition to his lengthy prison term, Agbaje has been ordered to pay $188,935.74 in restitution.
The scheme, which took place between November and December 2020, has been condemned by the US Attorney’s Office for the District of North Dakota.
