Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker is in Arizona this weekend campaigning for Democrats on the issue of abortion rights, asserting that “no one” is a single-issue voter.
Speaking on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Pritzker emphasized that voters consider multiple factors before making their choices at the ballot box.
“Abortion rights is going to be a very important one,” he stated, highlighting the significance of this issue in the upcoming elections.
In Phoenix, Pritzker is supporting a ballot measure aimed at protecting abortion rights, which has garnered some Republican backing. Despite Vice President Harris trailing former President Trump in polls for the state, Pritzker remains optimistic about her chances.
He pointed out that economic policies will also play a crucial role in voters’ decisions, stating, “The economy also matters, and that’s why the policies of the Harris-Walz campaign are about creating opportunity for everybody.”
Pritzker expressed confidence that if Harris wins Arizona, it could significantly undermine Trump’s campaign.
