Yesterday in one of my updates here,i made it known to the public what some people here don’t know about King Dr Saheed Osupa and Oganla Fuji Alhaji Wasiu Alabi Pasuma as regard when both great musicians started their carreer and who among them first released musical album.
This updates generated a lot of controversies as some people especially Pasuma diehard fans think this particular update was aimed at ridiculing Oganla Fuji but,this is far from truth.
Majority of my followers here know my work that i deal with Music and which give me the opportunity to know much about musicians most especially Fuji musicians because i am a lover of Fuji music from day one.
Today discussion here is just to analyse and break down the whole stories about these two giants and most successful Fuji musicians.
The bitter truth is that King Dr Saheed Osupa started musical carreer before Oganla Fuji Alhaji Wasiu Alabi Pasuma and whoever is in doubt about this can do his/her research very well. In fact King Dr Saheed Osupa has waxed two musical albums titled 𝐅𝐮𝐣𝐢 𝐅𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨 and 𝐅𝐮𝐣𝐢 𝐁𝐥𝐮𝐞𝐬 in year 1992 before Pasuma released his own first musical album titled 𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐎𝐆𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 in the year 1993,same year King Dr Saheed Osupa released his own third musical album titled 𝐅𝐔𝐉𝐈 𝐃𝐄𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍.
During this period, King Dr Saheed Osupa was at Ibadan Polytechnic. He hasn’t taken music carreer as priority then but faced his education.
In fact, most of the popular musical tracks that shot 𝐎𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐛𝐨 music crooner in to limelight then were actually already sang by King Dr Saheed Osupa and this was where their rift commenced when Osupa accused Pasuma of stealing his songs.
But one thing about Pasuma is he is blessed with good voice and dancing skills,he was first known and gained stardom before Saheed Osupa. In fact Oganla Fuji was the reason Saheed Osupa finally got recognition through their roforofo fight which made even myself know who is Saheed Osupa because I have been listening and hearing Pasuma music before i later discovered Saheed Osupa.
Saheed Osupa later abandoned his education pursuit after his National Diploma (ND) at the Ibadan Poly and faced music.
What King Dr Saheed Osupa struggled so hard to gain, Pasuma gained it with ease as he remains till date the only Fuji musician who since he came to limelight through his first Musical album in 1993 still remains on Top till date. Saheed Osupa never come to limelight until his fourth musical album titled 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 in 1996/97 whereas Pasuma has has been in stardom since 1993 when he released his own first musical album titled 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.
𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐫 𝐒𝐚𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐎𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐚 started his music carrier in the year 1983
Released his first and second musical albums in the year 1992
𝐎𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐥𝐚 𝐅𝐮𝐣𝐢 𝐀𝐥𝐡𝐚𝐣𝐢 𝐖𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐮 𝐀𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐢 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐚 started his musical carrier in the years 1984/85
Released his first musical album in the year 1993.
Both great musicians were in each other’s throats for many years doing musical rivalry until recently that they came together to become best of friends.
