Buba Galadima asserts that Rabiu Kwankwaso would have made a better president for Nigeria than Bola Tinubu. Discover his reasons behind this political stance and the potential implications.
Buba Galadima, leader of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP), has declared that the party’s presidential candidate, Rabiu Kwankwaso, would have done better than President Bola Tinubu.
Galadima made the remarks while lamenting the state of development in Nigeria.
Galadima, speaking on Channels TV’s Politics Today, recalled how Indians used foreign remittances to build the country.
Galadima said, “Rabiu Kwankwaso would have done better than Tinubu because he can export his seung to CNN and Al Jazeera and make dollars from there.
“We will specially train Nigerians and send them to all these Javanese islands where you are screaming.” That’s what India did. When we were young, the then federal government employed Indians as teachers.
“You sometimes find Indians with master’s degrees who can’t ride a bike. IT and healthcare have thrived thanks to remittances from around the world, and now 70% of the world’s conglomerates are Indian.
“No one is interested in the development of Nigeria, they’re only interested in lining their own pockets.”
“We can change this through mindset and as leaders we can lead by example. Go to the grassroots, go to Kano and see how the Dangote Skills Acquisition Centre is training people.”
