Israel extends ‘special situation’ order nationwide
Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Spokesperson Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari announced on Monday that the “special situation” order has been extended nationwide, allowing for further restrictions across the country. This decision comes as tensions escalate and security measures are heightened.
During a press conference, Hagari stated that the IDF has conducted 1,300 airstrikes on Hezbollah targets in Lebanon, focusing on cruise missiles, rockets, and armed drones.
The strikes targeted weapons stored in civilian homes, including medium-range missiles capable of reaching up to 200 kilometers.
“Challenging days are ahead,” Hagari warned, emphasizing the IDF’s commitment to both defense and offensive operations on all fronts.
