On Wednesday, a formal marriage proposal was held at the Asokoro residence of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar with a distinguished delegation as guests.
The family of Kashim Imam requested the hand in marriage of Hafsat Atiku Abubakar from a delegation led by ex-Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai.
Prominent individuals in attendance at the gathering were National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, as well as Sule Lamido of Jigawa State and Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of Sokoto State- to name a few.
