The Executive Governor of Rivers State Sir Sim Fubara has nominated Ohafia born Chief. Dr. Sam Anya better known with his title “Akaepkuchionwa “ as a Commissioner in Rivers State.
Before his nomination, Dr Anya was the Leader of Non Indigenes in Rivers State.
He contested the ticket of the PDP for the 2023 Ohafia Arochukwu Federal Constituency but lost to Hon Ifeanyi Uchendu who lost the election to Ibe Okwara of the LP.
