Owu Waterfalls is a picturesque waterfall situated between Owa Onire and Owa Kajola in Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State, Nigeria. There is an ongoing controversy regarding its ownership.
It is the highest waterfall in West Africa, standing at 120 meters above water level and cascading 330 feet down an escarpment, with rocky outcrops leading to a pool of ice-cold water below.
Location
Owu Waterfalls is located in the Owa-Onire Community in Kwara State, Nigeria. Although it is situated in the southernmost part of Ifelodun, it is easily accessible from the Isin Local Government Area.
