Denilson Igwe, a former member of the Mark Angel Comedy crew, has accused the group’s founder, Mark Angel, of mistreatment. In a recent episode of the “Honest Bunch” podcast, Denilson recounted his experiences, claiming he was one of the original creators of the Mark Angel Comedy skits while serving as a cameraman.
According to Denilson, Mark Angel, who was a security guard at the time, persuaded them to create a Facebook page, which he later monetized without informing the crew. Denilson also alleged that in 2014, Mark Angel bought a car but falsely claimed it was a gift.
Additionally, Denilson revealed that Emmanuella, a popular child comedian in the group, was paid a monthly salary of 20,000 Naira, while the crew was unaware of the substantial revenue generated from the Facebook page, reportedly amounting to $160,000 per month.
Denilson concluded by stating that he is the only one willing to speak out against Mark Angel, as he is an orphan and has witnessed others who have spoken out face accidents or even death. His revelations have sparked controversy and raised questions about the inner workings of the Mark Angel Comedy group.
