Actress Destiny Etiko has criticized some Nigerians for their excitement over the return of the Big Brother Naija show despite the ongoing economic hardship. In a post on her page, Destiny expressed surprise that people still have the means to buy data to watch and engage with the show.
Her main concern, however, is for the poor masses. She highlighted that crime and insecurity are rampant, yet people seem indifferent to these pressing issues. Destiny stressed that, given the current economic struggles and societal challenges, it is surprising and disheartening to see so much focus on entertainment rather than addressing the critical problems facing the country.
