A cosmetics seller has faced backlash for revealing that a Kirikiri Prison convict and lifestyle influencer, Bobrisky, purchased some of her items. On Twitter, now known as X, @subuolax shared her experience with an inmate from the well-known prison, sparking reactions.
Bobrisky was convicted and sentenced to six months in prison after admitting to abusing naira notes. The vendor stated that the convict placed an order from her cosmetic business, which she found to be the highlight of her week. She expressed surprise that beauty could be a priority for someone in such a situation.
“An inmate of Kirikiri Prison in Nigeria ordering from Beauty Hut is surprisingly the highlight of my week. Like miss ma’am, beauty shouldn’t be your priority right now?” she wrote.
Although she did not explicitly name Bobrisky, social media users quickly made the connection, speculating that the transgender influencer was the customer in question. The incident has sparked discussions about the priorities and lifestyle choices of inmates, particularly those with a public persona like Bobrisky. Reactions continue to pour in, highlighting the mixed opinions on the matter.
