The training of some youths and women from Aba came to end yesterday with all the successful trainees getting the necessary tools and money to kick start their business.
The elated trainees who appreciated the organiser and sponsor, Hon. Alex Ikwechegh (Onyeocha n’Aba) for the kind gesture, which they described as once in a lifetime opportunity, said they have never had this good.
Some of the participants who spoke to correspondent Carol Nwakanma, promised to make good use of the resources given to them to better their lives.
Speaking on behalf of Hon. Ikwechegh, who represents Aba North and Aba South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Mr. Uche Kalu stated that one of the Lawmaker’s goal is to ensure that majority of his constituents become independent and self reliant.
The beneficiaries who were trained in ICT, Solar Panel Installation and Fashion and Designing, were drawn from the various wards making up Aba North and Aba South Federal Constituency.
