Popular actor and matchmaker Adams Kehinde, also known as Lege Miami, has urged Nigerians to avoid participating in the upcoming protests against the country’s economic difficulties. In a video message, Lege Miami specifically asked youths in Lagos to refrain from joining the demonstrations scheduled for August 1.
He emphasized the need to give President Bola Ahmed Tinubu more time to tackle the nation’s economic challenges, including rising living costs and food prices. Lege Miami expressed concern that some might use the protests as an opportunity to create chaos and undermine the government.
He also praised the efforts of the Governor of Lagos, suggesting that protests are unnecessary in the state. Instead, he encouraged youths to support the President and pray for a better Nigeria, focusing on unity and positive action rather than confrontation.
