Grammy nominee and Afrobeats star David ‘Davido’ Adeleke has inked a multi-million Naira partnership deal with automobile manufacturer GAC Motors Nigeria.
Davido returned to Nigeria after spending a few weeks abroad to sign the partnership deal on Monday, July 22, at the company’s headquarters in Lagos.
Davido expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, stating that he is excited to join GAC Motors as one of its ambassadors.

It has been gathered that Davido, upon signing the ambassadorial agreement was given a car gift of Hi-Tech SUV 2024 of the company which was valued at $37,000 (N68 million Naira equivalent) by the company. This is different from the a GAC M8 2024 Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MPV presented to Davido and his wife by the same company during their wedding event recently in Lagos.
To appreciate the goodwill of Ubi Franklin, RoundTable learned Davido had gifted him with the GS8 2024 car presented to him by the company even though Ubi Franklin did not demand the car.
Also in June, skitmaker-turned-singer Nasboi was announced as an ambassador for the automobile company.
