Media personality Do2dtun has urged celebrities to address their personal issues through legal channels rather than social media. At the 2024 TrendUpp Awards, he voiced his concern about the growing trend of seeking justice online, which often leads to misunderstandings and misinformed reactions.
“I believe there’s much to consider in this situation. I’m cautious about what I share publicly, as many people in Nigeria react without fully grasping the details,” Do2dtun said.
He highlighted his own challenges in seeking justice within the Nigerian system, despite following the proper procedures.
“I’m a prime example of someone who has adhered to the correct process, but the system sometimes fails us. Even though I’ve done everything right, the system often remains unhelpful. This frustration drives some people to take their grievances online when they feel unheard,” he noted.
Do2dtun criticized the slow pace of justice in Nigeria, where even minor issues can take years to resolve. He emphasized that, despite the flaws in the justice system, publicizing such matters online can exacerbate the situation.
