In the early hours of today, Mr. Maurice Ogbonnia Isu, the OKABUE Ehugbo and Speaker of the Ehugbo Traditional Council of Elders, was arre$ted on charges of contempt of court.
An anonymous source confirmed the arr3st, stating that legal action was taken due to Mr. Isu’s alleg3d failure to comply with a court order.
Community members have expressed strong disapproval of the arr3st.
A prominent voice stated, “I personally condemn the arre$t of the traditional speaker of the Ehugbo House of Representatives. The court should have communicated with him in writing. This is an insult to the Ehugbo community.”
