Governor James S. Edduba spearheaded a significant meeting with Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) personnel led by Ms. Avelina Manganip, PAMANA focal person Mr. Sison Paut, Designated Public Employment Service Office (PESO)-Kalinga Manager Ermilinda Wandag, Social Welfare and Development (SWAD) representatives, and Provincial Youth Development Office (PY) representative Mr. Felix Daladag. The meeting delved into the progress of various projects including TUPAD, RRP-CCAM, Project Lawa, and BINHI.
These diverse programs are set to be a collaborative effort involving PGO Kalinga (PESO-Kalinga and PYDO), SWAD, DSWD, and DOLE. Governor Edduba envisions that through the joint efforts, the community will experience positive transformations, particularly in enhancing water access and ensuring food security. The governor and partner agencies are determined to dispel the misconception that initiatives like TUPAD are merely handouts or limited to street cleaning activities.
This meeting is crucial to streamline the implementation of various programs, aiming to make a significant difference in the lives of Kalinga residents. The pooling of resources and expertise from diverse government agencies paves the way for a promising journey towards sustainable development and empowerment in the province.
