Samuel Eto’o, the President of the Federation of Cameroon Football (FECAFOOT), has chosen to take the African football regulatory body to court.
The former Indomitable Lions attacker appeared in front of a court on Wednesday after being accused with a variety of charges.
The continent’s football governing body has yet to issue a statement on the conclusion of the case, but Eto’o has chosen to seek remedy in court.
“I have mandated my lawyers to file a complaint against CAF and for responsibilities to be established.
“It was too easy to taint everything I had accomplished in football over the last few years.
CAF launched a press release much too early. This is unacceptable behaviour“, he said.
