The former Head of Service and the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Environment, Lady Joy Maduka has been directed to proceed to a compulsory retirement.
According to a memo from the office of the Head of Service sited by newsmen and was signed by Dr. Mrs. N.O. Obioma, the Head of Service.
It reads:
Sequel to the directive of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Abia State, Dr Alex Chioma Otti, you are to proceed on Complusory Retirement with immediate effect.
You are to hand over all the government properties in your custody to the most senior director in the ministry
