1. Consequent upon the misleading reports of some media houses in the state which have neccissitated divergent interpretations and views over the lingering issue of Uzodike Aaron of Aba North state constituency ; the office of the speaker Abia house of Assembly is hereby constrained to dislodge the intents of such misleading and misinterpreted media reports and the sponsors by stating as follows:
1 That the delay in Swearing in of Uzodike Aaron as member of the 8th Abia house is ochestrated by an ensued legal restriction which invariably encumbered the speaker from carrying out the exercise when scheduled.
2 That the speaker has during a press conference held on Thursday last week at Umuahia assured that plans are under way to evolve political solution to extricate the intricacies sorrounding the Uzodike,s swearing in.
3 That the speaker is neither defiant of the ruling of the court of appeal nor responsible for the prevailing situation but legally incapacitated to carry out the exercise.
4Â That those fanning the ember of anger and or sponsoring campaign of calumny against the speaker through social & Electronic media platforms may be ignorant of the complexities of law if not myopic of its intricacies.
5 That the misinterpretation of the situation may seemingly be a machinated intrigues of the opposition to dissuade the listening public into believing their malignant stories of falsehood and unguided utterances.
Verifiably, the speaker therefore remains absolved from any form of blames on Uzodike political travails.
