A Nigerian man , Farooq Oreagba is making waves at the 2024 Ojude Oba festival for his unique style.
Ojude Oba Day is one of the annual Yoruba festivals. Like the years before, the 2024 edition was so colourful, with Indigenous peoples of Ijebuland showcasing their rich heritage and style.
Amongst participants is Oreagba, whose face and fashion style have since been at the centre on social media.
His unique fashion sense, composure, and panache have made him one of the biggest sellers of the 2024 Ojude Oba Day.
Oreagba’s recently found fame has interested people in discovering more about him.
This is coming after photos and videos of him at the event surfaced and were shared multiple times as netizens drooled over his’ steeze’ and charisma that captivated a lot across Nigerian social media.
In the trending photos, Oreagba dressed in a green and lemon stunned in an ‘agbada and shokoto’ outfit paired with a matching cap. He complemented the look with red coral beads around his neck and a crossbody gold chain on his torso.
In one particular video, he was spotted riding on a decorated horse with tattoos on his arms in full display while also smoking a cigar.

Oreagba, an investment professional, is a former head of the Nigerian Stock Exchange Consult.
Born into the Oreagba Akeula family as Farooq Olatunbosun Oregba in 1966. He shares a distant relationship with the Balogun Kuku family.
His educational life:
Oreagba started his educational journey in his hometown at ljebu-Ode Grammar School before attending
Mayflower School and Ikenne, both in Ogun state, for his secondary education.
After finishing his secondary education at Mayflower School.
He graduated from Oxford with a degree in finance and acquired a master’s degree at the University of East London and another degree in Business Management from Coventry University.
The former MD of NSE also holds a diploma certificate in executive leadership from the Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic University.
Oreagba has also picked up numerous certifications from different educational institutions at home and abroad.
He was a former managing director of the Nigerian Stock Exchange and Securities.
He stepped away from his role as the MD of NSE amid his fight with bone and skin cancer.
In 2014, Oreagba was diagnosed with osteosarcoma and carcinoma, which, in simpler terms, can be translated to mean bone marrow and skin cancer, respectively. He, however, battled with the disease and was declared cancer-free after two years.
Oreagba is currently the managing director of NG Clearing Limited. He was appointed MD/CEO of NG Clearing Limited in September 2023.
This appointment came nearly six years after Oreagba had to step away from the financial sector due to health issues.
The financial guru who recently turned 58 got his first tattoo after age 50.
