Dubai’s police force, famous for its lavish collection of luxury cars, has added yet another modern vehicle, the Tesla Cybertruck. This popular electric pickup truck is decorated in the police force’s green and white colours. It joins other high-performance vehicles like the Mercedes-AMG G63, Aston Martins and Porsches in their fleet.
After Cybertruck was unveiled in November 2019, Dubai Police hinted that the new electric pickup truck could be used to patrol the city’s streets.
A few days after the presentation, they published a photo of Cybertruck with their department badge and the corresponding color scheme.
Now, in 2024, when Tesla has already started delivering Cybertrucks, the Dubai Police has received its unit to add to its fleet. An electric truck in bright white and green coloring will join the fleet of the police. Dubai Police General Command has unveiled this cutting-edge addition to its luxury patrol fleet, as shared via X.
”The Dubai Police General Command has added the Tesla Cybertruck, the modern electric car with a futuristic design, to its tourist police luxury patrol fleet,” the department wrote.
Elon Musk responded to the tweet by writing: “Cool.” Cybertruck’s X account also commented on the post and wrote: ”Very cool to see – thanks for the trust.”
Dubai Police shared the news on their official X profile as well. “The Dubai Police General Command has added the Tesla Cybertruck, the modern electric car with a futuristic design, to its tourist police luxury patrol fleet,” read the caption.
