Ranking Member House Representatives, Hon (Dr) Abiola Peter Makinde PhD, representing Ondo East/West Federal Constituency has urged his constituents to sustain mutual love as Muslims celebrate Eid el Kabir.
Hon Makinde made this known through a statement released by his media aide where he congratulated his Muslim constituents for witnessing another year of Eid celebrations and urged them to sustain the mutual love that has ensured the steady growth of our community.
“I congratulate my Muslim constituents and Islam faithfuls across the country on witnessing another important celebration. As we celebrate, we must remember how we got here,love is a vital tenet of the Muslim faith, manifesting in our relationships with family, friends, and the broader ummah.
On this day, let us rekindle our commitment to intentionally love one another as Allah loves us, which in turn births an environment of mutual respect, kindness, and unity.
In the spirit of love, sacrifice and devotion that defines this festival, let us give thanks for the love that fills our lives and commit to spreading it far and wide. May our hearts be filled with the love of Allah. Happy celebration.”
