Two women have been detained in Russia on suspicion of the brutal beating and killing of a man after he refused their request for a party in a cemetery.
The women, Rosa, 29 and Martha, 37, were drinking with 63-year-old Alexander in a churchyard in Stavropol, a city in southwestern Russia. Local reports state that the female friends are accused of unleashing a series of kicks and punches on the man after he refused to have sex with them.
A report citing local police stated they beat him to death in a forest before hiding the body in a hole. The report stated: “They dragged the body into the forest and hid it in a hole.” The body was subsequently found and the women detained with a murder case opened. Footage shows one of the women being escorted to the alleged forest crime scene by officers from Russia’s Investigative Committee, who are seen carrying a dummy before laying it in a patch of grass on the forest floor. One of the women is then seen placing her feet on the dummy’s torso.
