Temi Otedola, daughter of businessman Femi Otedola, has become the first-ever African digital ambassador for Paris-based cosmetics company L’Oreal.
Temi announced this on Instagram on Friday, stating that she was honoured.
She said: “I still don’t believe I’m typing this but I’m so excited to announce that I am the first ever African Digital Ambassador for @lorealparis
I’m truly honoured to be the first Nigerian representing L’Oréal not only across Africa but also on a global stage. This has been the hardest secret to keep for the last 6 months!!
“I’m so excited to share L’Oréal’s iconic products and equally iconic brand with all of you. To me, the L’Oréal woman is empathetic, unapologetic and of course, infallible. She’s Worth It! I can still remember playing with my mom’s L’Oréal Lipstick and Mascara so this is a REAL dream come true!!!”
“I have grown up loving the products and deeply respecting the company’s values and vision.
“The L’Oréal Paris woman is someone I deeply resonate with – confident, unapologetic, and always striving to make a difference in the world
“I’m so excited to begin this beautiful partnership, sharing their ideals and all their amazing work to make us feel beautiful inside and out.”
The general manager of the brand, Issima Oniangue, expressed her excitement about Otedola joining the family.
“Temi’s unique style, confidence, and passion for beauty perfectly embody the L’Oréal Paris ethos of empowerment and sophistication.
“This partnership marks a new era of glamour and innovation in beauty for the region as we continue to celebrate and cater to the diverse beauty of African women.
Femi Otedola, who does not spare any moment to celebrate his children’s achievements on social media, said he was very proud of Temi.
“Very proud of my baby angel @temiotedola on her announcement as L’Oréal Paris New Ambassador and the first Nigerian to represent their brand. Keep Soaring!” the proud father wrote.
