…Declared Oro-Igwe is totally for Sir Siminalayi Fubara .
The leader of Simplified Movement in Obio-Akpor local government area of Rivers State, His Youthfulness, Amb Ihunwo Chijioke has declared that the people of Oro-Igwe will continue to give their total support to the Governor of Rivers State, Sir Siminalayi Fubara.
The leader made the declaration when he hosted the people of Oro-Igwe in his hometown, Rumunduru. Oro-Igwe comprises of Eliozu, Rumunduru, Rumuwhara and Elimgbu.
The leader expressed gratitude to the people of Oro-Igwe for standing with him and supporting the administration of Sir Siminalayi Fubara.
“I’m very happy because our people have realised that power belongs to God, His Excellency, Sir Siminalayi Fubara was voted by everyone here and we must stand to protect him.”
He berated the former Speaker of Rivers State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Martin Amaewhule for not attracting internal road to Oro-Igwe despite serving as a Leader and Speaker in the Assembly and throwing away an opportunity to attract development to his community but instead chose to carry out impeachment attempt on the Governor.
“We have our brother that was the former Speaker of Rivers State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Martin Amaewhule. He was the leader in the 8th and 9th Assembly and we didn’t get one internal road, and he is following others to impeach a Governor. This was an opportunity he would have used to attract development to his community but chose to do otherwise.”
Amb. Chijioke narrated his reaction when he was called by former Governor Wike in the impeachment of the governor.
“When I was called for the impeachment of the governor by Nyesom Wike I told them emphatically that I will not be involved. O.K Chinda and Martin were there, and he said I should be prepared for a fight.”
He assured the people that the administration of Sir Siminalayi is an administration that is out to ameliorate the lives of the people and bring the dividends of democracy to Obio-Akpor local government area.
He donated the sum of ten (10) million naira to the women of Oro-Igwe. He said the money is in appreciation of their unmatched efforts, unalloyed loyalty and total support to the Executive Governor of Rivers State, Sir Siminalayi Fubara.
Dignitaries that attended the town hall meeting are: Hon. Solomon Abel Eke, S.A to the Governor on Power, Hon. Darlington Orji, S.A to the Governor on Political Affairs, the King of Rumunduru and Chiefs.
