ONDO NANS CHAIRMAN EXPRESSES GRATITUDE OVER THE RELEASE OF THE ABDUCTED STUDENT FROM ADEKUNLE AJASIN UNIVERSITY
The National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS, Ondo JCC Chairman, Comrade Oluwarotimi Tobiloba Joshua, JOSH, has expressed his deepest gratitude to everyone involved over the release of Miss. Joy Adeniyi.
Miss Joy Adeniyi, an Adekunle Ajasin University student who was reportedly abducted by the unknown abductors on Sunday, 28th April, 2024, was released safely yesterday, 3rd May, 2024.
The NANS Ondo JCC Chairman thanked the security agencies and other law enforcement agents, who ensured her safe return while showing their commendable bravery and professionalism as a result.
He also expressed his gratitude to the Ondo State Government, the university authorities, the community members and all individuals who provided support, assistance, and prayers during and after the challenging process and ensuring that the student was released unarmed.
In addendum, he expressed his profound gratitude to the NANS Ondo JCC and beyond, who showed their solidarity and advocacy in keeping the pressure on and ensuring that Miss. Joy Adeniyi’s release remained a top priority, while expressing his deepest thoughts with the student and her family as they recovered from the recent ordeal.
