He also emphasized on the importance of the exercise in entrenching Democratic norms in the State.
He appealed to all aspirants to prioritize the interest of the Party and respect the decision of the electorates by maintaining peace and harmony.
He said the electoral process is an internal arrangement as required by the constitution to ensure that the APC is duly represented in the general election come November,2024.
He commended the courage of all the aspirants to have sought the party’s ticket through Democratic means.
As much as all the aspirants are qualified and have what it takes to lead the State to a promised land, the party can only have a candidate to fly the party flag.
Hence the need for unity and support for whoever emerges as the winner in today’s Primary election exercise.
The Principle of no Victor no vanquish must be adopted by the Party by bringing all contestants together as one united family for the interest of all.
