Hon. (Prince) Ileola Benedict ADEGOROYE popularly known as “IBA Olorun” a multiple award winning recipient has recently announced his resignation from the Social Democratic Party (SPD) effective from 7th April, 2024. He was the Ondo State SDP House of Assembly Candidate in 2023.
He expressed his appreciation to the leadership of SDP both at the Local, State and National level for the privileges and opportunities accorded him during the period of membership and to have been elected, as the candidate of SDP for the 2023 Ondo State House of Assembly election for Akure South Constituency 1.
Ileola ADEGOROYE (IBA Olorun) affirmed that his resignation from the Social Democratic Party (SDP) came after careful consideration and evaluation by his key followers and constituents for a progressive leadership and effective political dimensions, in edging forward to new yet productive political journey in novel capacities.
IBA Olorun reiterated that while his membership with the Social Democratic Party (SDP) comes to an abrupt end, his concentration on peace, equality, justice and unity remains firm and solid. He further asserted by saying: “A CHANGE for a PROGRESSIVE structure is what we all aspire and I will constructively align with the best interest of my constituents”.
The former SDP Statesman, concluded by wishing SDP well in all future political endeavours, and to accept his resignation with love and good fate.
Hon. (Prince) Ileola Benedict ADEGOROYE has a consistent dedication to rendering humanitarian services by impacting people through the organization of different reorientation programmes for the less-privileged, youths, children, women, etc. His philanthropist nature and special love for humanity gave birth to his support and scholarship programs for students living below poverty line and also brilliant students in different educational programs. This accounted for his thousands of followers in all local government in Ondo State, Nigeria. His working and effective political structure also attest to this.
As a former House of Assembly candidate, Prince Ileola Adegoroye has made resounding marks in the political spheres as he has been ranked among the capable Akure Sons in his field of engagements and obviously, one of the best, which have earned him utmost respect and support by many people in Ondo State and beyond. He has also devoted his activities to making Akure, Ondo State and Nigeria at large a better place for all.
