Manchester City and Arsenal remain engaged in a fascinating Premier League title race as we head into the final stretch of an engrossing season.
The two teams look set to battle it out to the end with Liverpool now seemingly out of the running. Their draw with West Ham on Saturday has all but eliminated Jurgen Klopp’s side from title contention. A run of one point from three games has left them third, five adrift of leaders Arsenal with three to play.
The Gunners survived a scare on Sunday to claim maximum points in the North London derby. Arsenal raced into a three-goal lead at the break but Tottenham struck twice in the closing stages to ensure a nervy finish.
That result moved Mikel Arteta’s men four points clear of City before the Blues responded with a win of their own against Nottingham Forest. The gap is now a solitary point heading into the final weeks of the season with the title in City’s hands courtesy of their all-important game in hand against Spurs. Here’s how the next few weeks shape up for both clubs.
