With ongoing robust campaigns and mobilization across the 18 Local Government in the State, Ondo State Governor, His Excellency Lucky Aiyedatiwa has been tipped to win All Progressives Congress APC gubernatorial ticket in April.
Disclosing this is APC chieftain in Okitipupa LG, Hon Benson Akinbo at the weekly meeting of O’DATIWA MOVEMENT, Ode-Aye Ward 2 held at no 15, Odofin Street, Ode Aye on Sunday.
The meeting which also served as avenue to applaud the qualities that separates and ranked Governor Aiyedatiwa above other contenders for the Gubernatorial ticket has the presence of notable party leaders in the ward.
Akinbo who is from Ode-Aye Ward 2 explained that Aiyedatiwa supporters across the State has taken the campaigns and mobilization to a new level, going great lengths to weigh down the camps of other aspirants in the party.
Speaking at the meeting, Bombay Ladi-Okunniga thanked members present at the meeting for identifying with Aiyedatiwa’s project.
He said, “as the leading aspirant for the APC gubernatorial ticket, stakeholders and Ondo State residents are paying more than passing interest in Governor Aiyedatiwa’s activities”.
“And as people are paying serious attention to him, Aiyedatiwa never disappointed, but he is shinning brilliantly”, he said.
He revealed that like other towns in the State, Aiyedatiwa waxes strong in Ode-Aye with formidable structures compared to other aspirants.
“It is a common trend to see people shouting ‘Odatiwa, O’Dirorun on the streets of Ode-Aye…as there is hardly any prominent politicians in Ode-Aye that’s campaigning against Aiyedatiwa at the moment, even opposition members are also shouting ‘Odatiwa, O’Dirorun”, he said.
Ode-Aye Ward 2 coordinator of O’Datiwa Partners, who is also the immediate councillor of the ward, Hon Taiwo Orina declared that, “this time around, Ode-Aye community have got it right through His Excellency Lucky Aiyedatiwa…we are proud to declare that the real and top politicians in our party in Ode-Aye are now in Aiyedatiwa’s project as we have the resources and logistics to deliver APC gubernatorial ticket for Aiyedatiwa in Ode-Aye”.
Othe speakers at the meeting are former Supervisor from the Ward who has just decamped from PDP to APC, Hon Ayodele Ebunola, Ebunkuyo Obey Olusola, Mrs Funke Adeyemi, High Chief Olumowo Equator, Daisi Akintade, Ogunduyi Akinnagbe Odoye and others.
Meanwhile, Ode-Aye Ward 1 Coordinator of O’DATIWA PARTNERS, Mr Adeleke Dada Inuagurated the Unit Canvassers for all the 19 polling Units in the Ward on Sunday at Lapoki Family House in the town.
After the inuaguration, the Unit Canvassers brainstormed on the way forward as it relates to the assignment given to them.
Speaking on behalf of the Unit Canvassers, the woman leader of the ward, Mrs Ajibola Olaborede said, they are going all out for total victory for Governor Aiyedatiwa in Ode-Aye Ward 1, because he is the game changer.
