The immediate past Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Hon. Lola Fagbemi in a meeting strategically organized for Gov. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa continuity beyond 2025, she spoke extensively and passionately why she has been quiet and reluctant to declare for any Governorship aspirants. Hon. Fagbemi said as a true follower of the late former Gov. Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, it would amount to been unsympathetic and flagrant disrespect to the memories of her late boss if she ignore the process of mourning and given a befitting burial for her late boss to political campaign. Mama, therefore noted that it’s highly significant to bestow his boss a glorious departure before returning back to politics and this was a task that was concluded yesterday.
In an event that was massively attended by core party Stakeholders across Ondo West LG, Hon. Fagbemi beseeched all the stakeholders from each Ward in Ondo West LG that it’s significant for Ondo West LG to work and ensure there’s continuity with Gov. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa. She confirmed that His Excellence had assured the leadership that he would continue with all the projects commenced by Aketi in Ondo West. Project like, UNIMED Senate Building which the Governor had already donated 1billion and construction of roads in Ondo West LG. She further emphasized that Gov Lucky will never deviate from his promises.
The party Chairman, Hon Aro Bearnad, eulogies the loyalty of Hon. Fagbemi to his late boss and her steadfastness as a political juggernaut who has displayed consistency and progressivism overtime. The Chairman, expressed his confidence in her to deliver expectedly for Gov. Aiyedatiwa regardless of any difficulties ahead.
Hon. Onidare Sunday the former LCDA Chairman Ondo North West and also Director General of Lucky Aiyedatiwa Campaign Organization (LACO-FS) in Ondo West LG commends the former Commissioner for taking a reasonable time to mourn her former boss. He said, for the upteenth times, he has directed all his followers to commence work immediately for Gov. Ayedatiwa continuity.

The Former Caretaker Chairman of Ondo West LG, Hon. Adeola Agunbiade described Hon. Fagbemi as a core progressive leader with a massive grassroot followers across the LG with capacity to deliver expectedly for Gov. Aiyedatiwa. She said, “procrastination has ended, it’s now time to deliver as mama had directed”. Hon Tomide Akinribido, appreciates the Gov. and all the relevant stakeholders in Ondo West that accepted him into the party. He emphatically declared his unflinching support to the continuity of the present Governor. Hon. Victor Adelosoye and Hon. Adeya who was represented by Com. Idowu Ogundele reaffirmed their interest to support Gov. Aiyedatiwa and assured the former Commissioner of their readiness to work assiduously as the occasion permits.
