In a poignant display of unity and dedication to their roots, the Majority Leader of the Lagos State Youth Parliament and esteemed honourable member representing Eti-Osa Constituency 1 at the Lagos State Youth Parliament, Hon. Olasupo Jubril Adedimeji graced the Eti-Osa Indigene Forum Meeting with his presence together with Hon. Ojo Omolola Oreoluwa, the esteemed honourable member representing Eti-Osa Constituency 2 at the Lagos State Youth Parliament.
Amidst a sea of familiar faces and the warmth of community spirit, the two representatives stood before the people of Eti-Osa and shared the history behind the youth parliament, their duties, and their hopes and aspirations for the youth of Eti-Osa.
In the address of Hon. Olasupo Jubril Adedimeji, he assured the people of Eti-Osa of his unwavering commitment to making lives better for the youth as he had done, with his great team, when he served as the 12th National President of the Eti-Osa Indigenous Students’ Association (EISA). He also showered praises and appreciation to the Majority Leader of the Lagos State House of Assembly (LAHA) and the representative of Eti-Osa Constituency 1 at the LAHA, Hon. Noheem Adams, and Alhaji High Chief Mustapha Okunmoyinbo, the General Secretary of the Forum and Baale of Alasia town, for their unflinching support towards the development and advancement of the youth and called for more support from them and the people of Eti-Osa to make lives better for the youth of Eti-Osa.
During the meeting, Hon. Ojo Omolola Oreoluwa of Eti-Osa Constituency 2 in her address acknowledged and commended the great works of the leadership of the Eti-Osa Indigene Forum in strengthening the unity of Eti-Osa and assured the forum of her determination in attending more of the meetings and contributing her quota towards the progress and development of the youth in Eti-Osa. She stated that the development of the youth in Et-Osa is non-negotiable and she will try her utmost best in representing the youth of Eti-Osa well at the Lagos State Youth Parliament.
The Eti-Osa Indigene Forum meeting was attended by various stakeholders across Eti-Osa, including the Chairman of the Forum, Alhaji Abideen Lawal, General Secretary of the Forum and Baale of Alasia town, Alhaji High Chief Mustapha Okunmoyinbo, Assistant General Secretary of the Forum, Hon, Haroun Akinloye, Baale of Igbo-Efon Town, Baale of Oke-Ira Nla Town, Council of Chiefs of Oke-Ira Nla Town, Representative of Ogudu Oshadi of Ogombo Land, Chairman of the Eti-Osa Local Government Ocean Surge Communities, Hon. Sheriff Elegushi, Eti-Osa Indigenous Students’ Association (EISA) Director of Programs, Comr. Ismael Adebiyi, Comr. Raheemat Opeyemi Adisa, among others.
