In a bid to foster youth empowerment and community development, the Dakiz Human Development and Empowerment Initiative (DHDEI) recently unveiled a comprehensive empowerment program in Ile-Oluji, Ondo State. The initiative targets students of The Federal Polytechnic Ile-Oluji and the local youth population of the Community.
As part of the inauguration, the organization established established a committee aimed at spearheading the implementation of various empowerment initiatives within the community. Prince Orimisan Omowunmi (Mopol), the President of the National Association of Ondo State NAOSS, emerged as the Program Coordinator for students involved in the DHDEI initiative.
The program aims to equip youths with the necessary skills, resources, and opportunities to thrive in various spheres of life. DHDEI Ambassadors Mr. Kunle (Aluminum) and Miss Sarah (Cake Baking) will oversee the community-focused programs, under the Leadership of Mr. Florida a Youth Leader in the community, ensuring their alignment with the organization’s objectives and the specific needs of Ile-Oluji residents.
Through collaborative efforts and grassroots engagement, the empowerment program seeks to catalyze positive change, drive sustainable development, and empower the youth to become active participants in shaping the future of their community and beyond.
