Nigerian singer and member of P-Square, Paul Okoye, aka RudeBoy, has made fun of fellow musician Eedris Abdulkareem for his ongoing beef with Burna Boy.
The rift between Burna Boy and Eedris Abdulkareem ignited when the latter criticized the former during a podcast interview for asserting that no one in Nigeria assisted him.
In retaliation, Burna Boy faulted everyone who had contributed money to Eedris Abdulkareem’s medical expenses.
RudeBoy added his voice to the discussion, criticising Eedris Abdulkareem for his persistent practice of disparaging other musicians.
RudeBoy took to his Instagram story to vent his frustrations over Eedris Abdulkareem’s actions.
Rudeboy’s remarks, “Every eke market day we go de hear “I fought for the industry” na me cook de food wey una dey chop “I go just de laugh,” RudeBoy wrote.
“Now you wan reply with music you go reply taya !!!”
“Over 20yrs i have kept silence about what really transpired, how we top Nigerian artists as of then agreed with one voice, about payment conditions and treatments on same 50cent show, only for this greedy guy to go behind and collected peanut.. you de expect vip treatment ontop peanut payment?”
“You keep insulting any artiste at every opportunity, if is not tuface, is psquare, Timaya, dbanj, now na Burna… you go explain taya !!”
Similarly, Nigerian singer, Jaywon also waded into the rift between his colleagues, Eedris Abdulkareem and Burna Boy.
In his reaction, Jaywon said Abdulkareem has contributed a lot to the Nigerian music industry and deserved commendations but for his arrogance, adding that Burna Boy is toeing the same path.
On his X handle, Jaywon wrote: “Eedris has contributed a lot to the Nigerian music industry, was he applauded for that, NO and it was all because of his arrogant behaviour and that’s exactly what Burna too is doing so when I say ‘what goes around comes around’ is actually for the both of them! Las las everybody go collect. Na just time!”
