In a historic meeting of Adeleke Treasure Group (ATG) held today at the usual venue, Imole House Osogbo, there was an atmosphere of enthusiasm and encouragement among the teeming members of Adeleke Treasure Group (formerly known as Vote Adeleke 2022).
The State Coordinator of the Group, Comr. Kayode Oladeji (Waterman), opened the floor by expressing appreciation to the devoted members for their ceaseless support and loyalty to the party since the establishment of the futuristic platform of ATG and for honoring today’s emergency meeting.
He emphasized the rationale behind changing the title of Local Government Electoral Educator to LG Coordinator, stating that the era of educating and sensitizing voters has passed.
The electorates are now informed that Sen. Ademola Adeleke is the best for Osun State, with numerous physical projects already underway and many more to be executed before the expiration of the first tenure in office.
The next step is to fully coordinate our members to stand firm for PDP in their respective Local Governments for future elections.
The BOT Chairman of ATG, who also serves as the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Media Monitoring, Hon. Comr. Samakin Oriwo, outlined ATG’s focus on empowering members with the sum of One Million Naira, as already discussed with the State Coordinator, as a token of compensation for their sacrifices and unwavering loyalty during the struggle from 2019 to 2023.
The modality for the empowerment, scheduled for May 2024, was fully prioritized.
Hon. Gbenga Ajayi and Hon. Samakin Oriwo made giveaways to the members present at today’s meeting, in addition to asking the ATG Coordinator to add three members to the four already receiving monthly stipends from Comr. Samakin Oriwo.
As it stands, seven ATG members will receive rotational monthly stipends.
A minute’s silence was observed to honor the late Hon. Richard Idowu (Adeoriokin), who was highly committed to the upliftment of ATG during his lifetime.
Special prayers were offered for the deceased and the family he left behind. May his gentle soul rest in peace. We greatly miss the cheerful giver and approachable politician.
In a unanimous response, the members present expressed great elation with the new development and passed a vote of confidence to the State Coordinator, BOT Chairman, and Active State Patrons and Patroness of ATG.
In conclusion, the members present reiterated and made requests to the government to consider some of our dedicated members for official appointments to boost the morale of ATG and increase the volume of our mobilization strength.
