The Lagos police command has arrested two suspects with 70 cartons of exp;red Cyproheptadine Caplets.
The suspects were apprehended by a patrol team from Okokomaiko police division on Saturday at about 5:40pm.
The individuals confessed that they intended to deliver the expired drugs with a 2016 expiry date to someone in the Alaba area, who would alter the dates before proceeding to sell them in Port Harcourt.
The police are making efforts to apprehend the owner of the drugs, the person altering expiry dates, and other individuals involved in the ill;cit activity.
